Don and Dy Anne Long

Don and Dy Anne Long have been married since 1972.  They are the parents of one son, Dustin, who is married to Leigh Ann.  They are the grandparents of four amazing grands:  Maddie, Campbell, Michael, Kai, and one bonus grand, Eva.

Don and Dy Anne are members of POA, The Pentecostals of Alexandria, in Alexandria, Louisiana.  They are the founders of HOPE Prodigal Ministry at the POA, a ministry for prodigals and those who love them.  This ministry is “Helping Our Prodigals Eternally” and “Helping Overwhelmed Parents Endure.”  Don was a prodigal for ten years and returned in 1971.  Their only child, Dustin, was a prodigal for 12 years and was renewed in Jesus, December 2012.  Both Don’s family and Dy Anne’s family are converts and disciples of Bishop G.A. and Vesta Mangun during the early 1950’s.

Don and Dy Anne have been in ministry together for their entire married life.  The various ministries at the POA in which they are a part are POA Orientation Department (32 years), Home Bible Studies, Sunday School, Leadership, Prayer Leaders, Altar Team, Worship, and HOPE Prodigal Ministry since 2014.

Don and Dy Anne speak to groups, churches, conferences, and privately to hurting couples or family members, sharing their hearts to bring hope and life to seemingly dead situations.

Blake and Kim Fletcher

Rev. Blake Fletcher and his wife Kim are licensed ministers and evangelists with a Prophetic Ministry based out of the Pentecostals of Alexandria.  Also retired from the military, Blake spent 20 years as an infantryman and served his country in Iraq during 2004-2005.

They are the parents of two wonderful children, Makayla Fletcher Fontenot (Kobe) and Landan Fletcher.

The nephew and niece of Donald and Dy Anne Long, Blake and Kim have a heart for prodigals.  They both played an intricate role in helping their first cousin, Dustin Long, a former prodigal, make his journey back home.

Blake and Kim are a couple dedicated to intercessory prayer and fasting for the Kingdom of God.

Shelia Jones Goynes

Shelia is a returned Prodigal and fourth generation Apostolic.  She received the Holy Ghost when she was nine years old and learned to pray and worship with her dad as an example.  She loved God and grew up knowing the life of an evangelist’s kid.  In her early adult years, she left the church after multiple church splits and church hurts.  Never intending to stay out of church, she drifted into the world not really knowing how to find her way back.

During the 15 years as a Prodigal, Shelia remembers hearing a message on the radio one Sunday that gripped her heart.  It was a message on “Calvary” by Bro. Anthony Mangun on Harvest Time radio broadcast.  Little did she know he would become her Bishop/Pastor one day!  It was a drawing from God that brought her back to that Old Rugged Cross in an altar of repentance.  God dealt with her heart.  He was so tender and caring.  He spoke these words to a Pastor as she was visiting his church:  “be gentle with her, I’m bringing her home!”

Shelia has a desire and passion to help the wounded find both spiritual and emotional healing through Prayer, Fasting and God’s Word.  Her vision and hunger for more of the deep things of God birthed the successful P.U.S.H. Conference in 2005-2011 at Living Way Apostolic Church in West Monroe, Louisiana.   Shelia also served in the following ministries at Living Way Apostolic Church:  Singles Ministry Director for 15 years, Prayer Coordinator, Sunday School Teacher, Music Minister, and in Ladies Ministry.

Shelia is an experienced conference planner, speaker, teacher of the Word and a trusted mentor to many.  Professionally, she has been in leadership in the banking industry for more than 37 years.   She has also served on various boards including women's ministry, counseling, and business.  In 2021, Shelia completed life coaching certification with John Maxwell Leadership.  Currently, she is working on certification in the Maxwell DISC Method in the area of personality assessment for both individuals and business teams.

In 2018, God opened a door for Shelia to move to Alexandria.  Loving prayer and prodigals made it easy to connect with the Long family.  She has received much healing as a Prodigal under their guidance and counts it an honor to serve with them on the staff of HOPE Ministry.

Shelia loves spending time with her family who brings her great joy.  She has two sons:  Robbie and his wife Rachelle Crain, and Thomas Crain; and her grandchildren:  Anthony & Macy, Gabe, Elijah, Julianna, Addalyn and Breylin.   She is married to Bishop Dexter Goynes of Glenmora U.P.C.

Timothy Heard

Timothy Heard was born and raised in an apostolic pastor’s home.  As a teenager, he walked away from God and his Christian upbringing and began partying and experimenting with drugs.  He spent over 30 years battling drug addiction, homelessness, and incarceration.

He just celebrated five years of recovery.  Timothy is co-founder of High Hope Ministries in which he works with prodigals.  He is also Vice President of Outreach for Resurgence Behavioral Health providing services for those struggling with addiction and mental health.   Timothy currently resides in Alexandria, Louisiana, and attends the Pentecostals of Alexandria.

Dustin Long

Dustin is the son of Don and Dy Anne Long.  He is a graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.  He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.  Dustin served as Assistant Youth Pastor at Castle Hills UPC in San Antonio, Texas, from 1995-1996.  He followed his uncle, Bishop Derald Weber to Lafayette, Louisiana, in 1996 where he served as Student Pastor until 2001.

In 2001, he walked away from his ministry and the call of God to pursue a career in pharmaceutical sales.  Admittedly, by the Grace and Mercy of God, he returned home in 2012, and God began the journey of restoration in his life.  Dustin cofounded High Hope Ministries in 2022, where he is using his testimony and experiences as a prodigal to encourage and empower others who have walked away from God.

Dustin is married to Leigh Ann Swanson.  They currently live in Alexandria, Louisiana, and attend the Pentecostals of Alexandria.   Dustin has four children and a blessing daughter with Leigh Ann.

Chad and Kelly Franklin

Chad has been a life-long member of The Pentecostals of Alexandria (POA) and a fourth generation apostolic.  He graduated from Northwestern State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.  His career has consisted of 9 years in Operations Management and 17 years in Equipment Sales.  Together, Chad and his wife own and operate a rental property business.  Chad taught in the eight year old boys Sunday School class for 12 years.  He is a member of a men’s prayer ministry, HOPE Prodigal Ministry, Jail Ministry, and POA Baptistry Coordinator.

Chad’s wife, Kelly, has been a member of the POA for 30 years.  She is also a graduate of Northwestern State University.  Kelly has worked for the Louisiana National Guard Youth Challenge Program for 20 years in Administrative Management.  She has been a staff member in a Sunday School class at the POA and currently, Kelly is a team member of the HOPE Prodigal Ministry and POA Baptistry Coordinator.

Chad and Kelly have been married 24 years and have two children:  Kloe (Mrs. Christopher Wright) and Cooper.
